      It will help me raise awareness of science among girls, encouraging them to take up the subject at school and carry it on into university. I want to highlight local role models and show girls that they can have a science career too.

      If I win the money, I will introduce secondary school boys to the interactive and fascinating aspect of Science with a day trip to W5 in Belfast. This is a great way to cultivate an interest in the Science. It addresses all types of scientific principles covering chemistry, biology and physics. I can guarantee even the most disinterested student will leave there “blown away”!
