      Statistics. Understanding statistics is a big deal, not everyone gets it. So if you can learn a subject that others find difficult or don’t understand, then you will never be out of a job!

      Blood film examination -this is a skill I have acquired over the years. It is the ability to recognise and differentiate normal and abnormal blood cells. It takes a long time to build up this skill and I was lucky to have learnt so much when I worked in Crumlin
