• Question: do you think we would be able to bring dinosaurs back by changing genes in modren day animals

      Theoretically I think that it will be possible but a) Is it ethical? Is it a good thing to do? b) Is it a good use of money and resources? Would we do it just because we can? What would we be getting out of it? and c) Who is going to feed and clean up after these brutes?

      I think that it is interesting to look at modern-day dinosaurs, those that are distant relatives of dinosaurs, turtles, birds etc. Evolution is amazing, but we have to think about how humans have interfered with natural processes.

      No -the more I think about that, it doesn’t make sense because if we have evolved from millions of year-old genetic material, its not likely to go back and recreate it properly
