• Question: How did the first bit of DNA form billions of years ago?

      Had to google this too- and one of the opening headings was ” a big question to which we don’t have the full answer”! The general feeling is that the amino acids that make up DNA became more stable over time -they were together in porous rocks and the environment was right for them to “stick” together.
