      It’s difficult to say exactly how the changing environment will affect farming – warmer conditions might mean that crops are more productive and grow larger. On the other hand, more extreme periods of rain or drought could make yields lower.

      Although predicting what the effects of climate change might be on farming is difficult, there are things we can do to make crops more resilient to climate change, like saving water and making sure that the soil stays fertile.
