• Question: There used to be a bug that we found a fully working cure but now they bine together to create super-bugs how are you going to create a antibiotic to cure it

      You could bring two antibiotics together to test what happens. Sometimes two drugs together can produce an effect that we don’t fully understand, but they work together. Other times we can use a drug that was developed for one disease (cancer), reduce the dose and apply it to another disease (rheumatoid arthritis). One of the areas that I am working on is trying to predict the effect of drug combinations, when we know the effect of each individual drug. It’s not as easy as I first thought!
