• Question: would you work much hours

      Thanks for the question. As I work in a university, it’s not 9-5 (some science jobs can be though). Experiments may not finish at 5, so you have to stay late or come in at the weekend. Sometimes I will read or code in the evening. Other times you will have deadlines that mean you have to pull an all-nighter or two. It can be 40 hours per week minimum. Other weeks it can be 60 hrs. Does that put you off?

      37 hours a week!
